Drop Cloth fitted slip!!

You have guessed it...

I have gone to the drop cloths  not to the birds!!!!

When you find something that you really like to work with , do you become

obsessive???

Yup that's me....

I made several years ago, long before blogland I found painters dropcloth and made a fitted

slip for our wing back chair.

Not knowing that this would become a very popular fabric.

How can you go wrong?   The size and definitely  the price is  right!!!

Yes , I have just completed a fitted slip for our loveseat in our Living Room.

I decided that the loveseat would be more fitted than the sofa so I cut out the pieces that I needed

to make the fit and added on a pleated skirt.

I also covered the seat cushions.  I left enough fabric in the back so that one day if I get the urge

I will add piping to the front of the seats.

So there you have it... The secrets out!!!  I'm a drop cloth junkie.....

So here are the couches before:

and after:

Now I must go make some new pillows for this loveseat....

Of course they will be made from drop cloth......

Now just putting this out there...  Our Living Room is very formal so by adding these slips

I need some advise on what to do with out coffee table to keep it from looking too formal?

Painting it is out of the question.
